I’m in the early stages of planning another Skye trip for next year, hopefully get some better weather than the last two trips where the photo output was pretty low!
The weather wasn’t very conducive to photography, anyway, here’s what I managed to produce after 4 days on the beautiful Isle Of Skye…
Back home today – bags are packed – rain lashing it down outside – been a good trip, however the weather hasn’t been too kind!
So, back home ready to plan the next trip!
Had a few drinks last night whilst watching ‘Armadillo’ and London to Brighton. Weather *seems* a little better. Let’s see if we get any photography done today!
Had lunch at ‘The Shed’ Armadale after a visit to Grumpy Georges.
Woke up to the sound of rain lashing off the cottage. Drove to Elgol….’twas a bit moist…
Sat in the car idling away the time…weather never improved so drove to the Quiraing. After admiring the precipitous view drove to The Stein Inn and met up with a good friend of mine! Couple of beers and a catch up then back to Roskhill for a can of curry and a few wee drams!
Got to Roskhill Barn by about 1730 hrs after setting off from Bolton at 0800 hrs. Stopped off at Loch Lomond, The Commando Memorial at Spein Bridge and Eilean Donan Castle. Weather not too bad. Looking forward to a few days photography and whisky drinking!
